Though only a small piece of information is available regarding upcoming next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, one thing is confirmed that the audience won’t be able to put their hands on the devices until 2020.
A market watcher and expert Jason Schreier of Kotaku in one of the forums stated that Sony’s Play Station 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Scarlett wouldn’t be available before 2020. He also said that even if Microsoft unveils its next-gen console in this year’s E3, the console won’t roll out in the market until 2020.
There have been reports that it is not the scenario that only players are left out from the recent updates or information regarding the next-gen consoles, the thing is that even developers have a small amount of info regarding the same. Besides developers, even big teams that are behind the development of the consoles do not have the details of the consoles.
So concluding the reports it seems as if both Sony and Microsoft will launch their next-gen consoles in 2020, and neither of the companies will be left behind by Google as they are planning to score more than 10.7 teraflops of the Google Stadia.
Sources say that Sony won’t be attending E3 this year which confirms that no news regarding the PS5 will be available in the upcoming weeks. Still, Microsoft will be active throughout the year, and we will for sure get some information regarding what to expect from the next-gen consoles. But as the companies have officially confirmed nothing, so it will be best to wait and watch.
